The Kamino Lab is based at the Institute of Molecular Biology (IMB), Academia Sinica, in Taipei, Taiwan, and is led by Dr. Keita Kamino.

We study cellular information processing and the resulting adaptive behaviors of cells, using bacteria as model systems. Our particular focus lies in quantitatively understanding dynamic patterns in cells, combining extensive live-cell imaging with data modeling. We are a diverse team with members from a wide range of academic backgrounds — from molecular biology to computer science, and from theoretical to experimental physics.
If you are interested in joining our team, please contact Dr. Kamino.
